Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Alpha AI (alphasuperintelligence.space and the Alpha AI Android, Mac and Windows apps) collects, why, who processes it, and how you can delete it. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.

What we collect

  • Chats and prompts: the messages you send and Alpha's replies, Build prompts and generated code, Create prompts and generated images / videos, and files you attach. Signed-in chats are saved to your account. Signed-out (demo) chats are not saved on our servers; they stay in your browser.
  • Voice: when you use the mic, audio is sent to a speech-to-text provider to turn it into text, then discarded. We keep the text you send, not the recording. Read-aloud sends the reply text to a voice service.
  • Photos and camera: photos you take or upload in Chat or Lens are sent to an AI vision model to answer you. We do not keep a copy of camera photos on our servers beyond what is needed to answer; signed-in chats may store the text of the answer.
  • Google sign-in: your Google account name, email address, profile photo and a Firebase user id, used to sign you in and keep your chats and memories.
  • Memories you ask Alpha to remember, and documents you upload (signed-in only).
  • Usage and device data: which section you used, timing, errors, token counts, app version, device type and an approximate city / country from our hosting network. We do not store IP addresses; a daily-rotating hashed value is used to count unique visitors and to rate-limit abuse.
  • Feedback and reports: thumbs up / down, and Reports you send on an AI output (reason, optional note and a short excerpt of the reported output).

How we use it

To answer you and run each feature; to keep your chat history and memories; to prevent abuse, spam and harmful content (including automatic safety checks on prompts); to fix bugs and control costs; and, only if you turn on “Help improve Alpha” in Settings, to use anonymised, personal-info-redacted snippets to improve Alpha's own model. You can turn that off at any time.

Who processes your data

Your prompt (and any photo, audio or file needed for that answer) is sent to the provider that serves the feature. These providers process it to return a result under their own terms:

  • Groq: chat replies, voice-to-text (Whisper), script conversion for read-aloud
  • OpenRouter (free models): chat replies, Lens photo understanding
  • Cloudflare Workers AI: chat replies, voice-to-text, image generation
  • Google Gemini API: chat replies
  • Cerebras: chat replies
  • Requesty, Z.ai: chat replies (backup routes)
  • Hugging Face: chat replies, image and video generation
  • Pollinations: image generation (backup)
  • Microsoft Edge read-aloud voices: speaking replies aloud (reply text only)
  • Tavily, Brave Search, DuckDuckGo: live web search for your question
  • Supadata: YouTube transcripts when you paste a video link
  • Wikipedia / Wikidata, MDN, DevDocs, Stack Overflow, NIH / MedlinePlus, openFDA, WHO, Open-Meteo, Open Food Facts, World Bank, OpenAlex, arXiv, Open Library and similar public sources: facts for your question (only the search words are sent)
  • Google Firebase Authentication: Google sign-in
  • Vercel: hosting and running Alpha
  • Managed Postgres database: storing signed-in chats, memories, documents and usage
  • Resend: admin alert emails (no user chat content)
  • GitHub, Vercel, CodeSandbox: only when you choose to deploy or open a Build there

Alpha's admin can review saved chats for support, abuse prevention and cost control; every such view is logged. Data may be processed outside India by these providers. All traffic uses HTTPS.

How long we keep it

Signed-in chats, memories and documents are kept until you delete them or delete your account. Usage events and reports are kept for up to 120 days. Rate-limit and security logs are short-lived.

Your choices and deleting your account

You can delete single chats in the sidebar. To delete your account and all of its data, open Settings → Delete account & data in the app, or visit alphasuperintelligence.space/delete-account. Deletion removes your chats, messages, share links, memories, documents, usage, feedback and your Alpha sign-in account right away. Database backups kept by our hosting provider expire on their normal schedule.

Children

Alpha is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data. Requests for sexual content involving minors are blocked.
